Final table confirmed in the World Series of Poker Main Event

The final nine players have been confirmed for the World Series of Poker Main Event, as we saw it reduced from the 21 that entered on Day 8 of the tournament. Lucas Jumalon enters the next stage of the Main Event at the top of the chip count with a total of 194,000,000, which is a healthy lead over second-place Rami Hammoud with 79,000,000.

Then, entering the next stage in third is Jamie Shaevel, with a chip count of 56,000,000. Meanwhile, from fourth to sixth, they all have a total over 40 million; these places are taken by Greg Mueller (48,500,000), Michael Gagliano (46,500,000), and Mario Boos (44,000,000). Lauri Saaskilahti is in seventh place, while Han Feng is in eighth, with the final place going to Evagoras Evagorou.

Elsewhere around the tables of Las Vegas, we got to witness Johnny Oshana earn the golden bracelet from the $300 Gladiators of Poker No-Limit Hold'em tournament. He managed to outmanoeuvre the final field of 12 players who began the day to win a prize pot of $250,000.

At the end of play today in the $3,000 6-Handed Pot-Limit Omaha, there were a total of 18 players remaining, with three-time golden bracelet winner Christopher Vitch with a chip count of 4,875,000, while in second with a total of 3,100,000 is five-time golden bracelet winner Robert Mizrachi.

While in the $500 Summer Saver, only 434 players progressed to Day 2 from the 3,208 entries; leading Day 1b’s chip count is Michael Danley with 1,600,000, while he is closely followed by Shion Sakamoto in second with 1,560,000.

Finally, in the $10,000 6-Handed No-Limit Hold'em Championship, we are down to our final four players after an enthralling day of action.

Leading the chip count after Day 3 is Fahredin Mustafov with a total of 11,375,000, while in second is three-time gold bracelet winner David Peters with 9,025,000.

A seven-time golden bracelet winner is in third as Calvin Anderson has a chip count of 7,275,000, while in fourth is Dominykas Mikolaitis with 6,050,000.
