Harry Kane scored in stoppage time as Bayern Munich dropped their first points of the season after a 2-2 draw away to Union Berlin, bringing their 16-game winning streak to an end.

The hosts made the brighter start against a surprisingly sluggish Bayern and had a goal disallowed when Ilyas Ansah headed home but it was chalked off by VAR after a lengthy delay.

But they took the lead when a low corner was steered in by Danilho Doekhi whose shot squirmed under Manuel Neuer.

It took the Bavarians 38 minutes to register their first opportunity on goal but it was worth the wait with Luis Diaz keeping the ball in play on the byline before lashing the ball into the roof of the net from the tightest of angles to equalise.

Vincent Kompany's side ended the half well with ex-Liverpool man Diaz shooting wide with only the keeper to beat and Serge Gnabry having a shot saved.

The second half was similarly lethargic from the Bavarians, with the home side looking more likely to score.

Janik Haberer blasted a shot over, while Ansah's low shot was saved by Neuer.

Doekhi looked to have the final say with his second goal from close range following another corner.

But Kane, who was largely anonymous, rescued his side with a header in the 93rd minute to break Union Berlin hearts.

The result sees the reigning Bundesliga champions go six points clear of Borussia Dortmund with Union Berlin up to 10th.

I am surprised Kompany hasn't made a change after such a lacklustre 30 minutes of the first half and a similarly lethargic tempo in the second half.

It's been a carbon copy of the start of the first half, no chances created yet.
