Carlos Alcaraz and Taylor Fritz will both be competing at the 2025 Laver Cup. The pair battled it out in the deciding singles match this year, with Alcaraz winning to seal victory for Team Europe over Team World. Fritz will be hoping to turn the tables on home turf as the Laver Cup is played in San Francisco in 2025 with new team captains Yannick Noah and Andre Agassi.

Carlos Alcaraz and Taylor Fritz have been confirmed as the first players to be competing at the 2025 Laver Cup in San Francisco.
Alcaraz set a Laver Cup record on his debut this year as he won eight points to help Team Europe reclaim the trophy.
"It was great being part of Team Europe at the Laver Cup in Berlin this year," said Alcaraz.Â
"To have all the players I’m used to fighting against, together on the bench supporting me, sharing the same goal - to lift the trophy - is unique. I found it really motivating.
"I loved the Laver Cup energy, the environment, the atmosphere, and I can’t wait to be part of it again in San Francisco."
The 2025 Laver Cup will be held at the Chase Center in San Francisco, from September 19-21.

The event will see the team captains change for the first time, with Yannick Noah taking over from Bjorn Borg as Team Europe captain and Andre Agassi replacing John McEnroe on the Team World bench.
Speaking about Alcaraz, Noah said: "Carlos is a once-in-a-generation talent. His speed, energy and ability to rise in big moments are unmatched and I’m thrilled to have him with us on Team Europe.
"He inspires everyone around him and his presence on the team makes us stronger."
Fritz looks set to lead Team World after an impressive 2024 season.
He reached his first Grand Slam final at the US Open and was runner-up at the ATP Finals, ending the year at No. 4 in the world.
"I am pumped to represent Team World once again," said Fritz.
"The atmosphere, camaraderie, team chemistry and excitement of the Laver Cup is unlike any other tournament. I’m sure the energy will be amazing and hopefully the home fans will come out in force to support us in San Francisco. We really want the Laver Cup back."

Fritz has a 5-2 record at the Laver Cup and helped Team World to wins in 2022 and 2023.
"Taylor has been a force for Team World, and his commitment to the Laver Cup is undeniable," said Team World captain Agassi.
"He loves the team element of the competition and thrives in this unique format. He’s had an incredible season and I’m excited to know he’s ready to lead the charge for us at home in San Francisco next September."
