Ronnie O'Sullivan fired in two maximum breaks at the Saudi Arabia Snooker Masters on Thursday night. O'Sullivan made 147 breaks in the first and seventh frames of his semi-final victory over Chris Wakelin. He is the oldest player to ever make a maximum in a professional tournament. Earlier, Neil Robertson booked his place in Saturday's final with a 6-3 win over Elliot Slessor.

Ronnie O'Sullivan made two maximum breaks in a remarkable Saudi Arabia Snooker Masters semi-final win over Chris Wakelin.
O'Sullivan fired in his first 147 for seven years in the opening frame, to the delight of those fans watching on at the Green Halls in Jeddah.
And soon after, he achieved perfection again in the seventh frame of the match.
The 49-year-old, widely seen as the greatest player in snooker history, never really looked like missing in frame one as he enjoyed the perfect start to his last-four match.
He became the oldest player to ever make a maximum in a professional tournament.
"He is a global language, isn't he, Ronnie O'Sullivan?" fellow professional Steven Hallworth said on commentary on TNT Sports.
"You say the name and he is snooker. This is why we love him. What a player.

"If there was ever a question as to what the game means to 'The Rocket' still, he has just answered it there.
"What a moment for the crowd as well. There are probably people here... that may be the first frame of snooker they've ever seen. It's not always that easy, guys. It's just this man makes it look ridiculously easy."
It had already been quite a week for O'Sullivan in Saudi Arabia. He recovered from 5-2 behind to beat Chang Bingyu 6-5 in the last 16 and then came back from 5-3 down to see off Kyren Wilson 6-5 in the quarter-finals. Now he's produced another special moment.
Former world champion Ken Doherty, TNT Sports pundit, said: "It was just magical wasn't it? He's just such a genius.
"Just the way he did it, with consummate ease. It's almost like he's in the practice room there and just like not really bothered.
"It made me smile, it was really nice, lovely for the crowd and lovely for us.
"It was just like another day at the office for him, he just made it look so, so easy."

O'Sullivan followed up his 147 with a 142 in the second frame. Commentator David Hendon asked "if you've tuned in late, why?" at the start of the third frame
Outrageously, O'Sullivan then made it two maximum breaks on the night.
"This is flair, this is aura, this is genius," Hendon said as he potted the final black.
O'Sullivan sealed a 6-3 victory with a break of 134. Truly, this was a night that wowed snooker fans.
There have now already been five maximum breaks in this 2025/26 snooker season.
Fan Zhengyi made the first, at the Championship League in Leicester, which was followed by Zhang Anda at the Shanghai Masters.
The third came earlier at this tournament in Saudi Arabia, made by Thailand's Thepchaiya Un-Nooh.
Earlier, Neil Robertson booked his place in Saturday's final with a 6-3 win over Elliot Slessor.
