The Feathers started the match brightly and would have felt pleased with their efforts in the first quarter as they went toe-to-toe and found themselves only 13-11 behind.
However, the second quarter was a stark contrast to that, as Romelda Aiken-George and her fellow stars ran riot, giving the Sunshine Girls a 36-18 lead at the break.
The rot continued for Wales as changes were made to no avail and Georgia Rowe struggled to see any of the ball in the shooting circle.
Despite a couple of bright moments, Jamaica's attack was unstoppable, converting with nearly every move forward and any hopes of a comeback for Wales vanished.

What can Jamaica learn ahead of bronze-medal match?
Let's assume that Jamaica will finish second in the group as they are all but there.
The Sunshine Girls have been a little underwhelming in Glasgow so far, but have ground out wins when needed, especially against Scotland, who were one interception away from potentially walking away with a draw.
They will face Australia in the semi-final, while England and South Africa face off in the other group, which will follow this live on TNT Sports and HBO Max, an effective quarter-final with the two sides level on points.
Can Wales end their group stage with a bang?
Wales look destined to finish fifth in Group B, barring some extraordinary scenes at the Hydro.
Their one win came against Trinidad and Tobago, while they will look back at losses to Scotland and Uganda as missed opportunities.
Should they finish fifth, they will face Tonga for a potential ninth-placed spot, a match that you would back the Welsh Feathers in.
Welcome
