Defending champion Joaquin Niemann surged into contention as Bryson DeChambeau stumbled during the third round of LIV Golf Singapore.
After a blistering round of 65 in the second round, DeChambeau began the day with a three-stroke lead over the chasing pack.
In blustery conditions on Saturday, DeChambeau failed to replicate his efforts of the previous 24 hours.
He also suffered an embarrassing fall into a bunker, as he carded a 72 to drop one off the lead.
In contrast, Niemann found form at Sentosa. After five wins in the 2025 season, Niemann began 2026 in indifferent form. A 22nd-placed finish in Riyadh was followed by a 12th in Adelaide and 41st in Hong Kong.
Niemann's form heading into Singapore was not good, but his form at the course was and he dialled into it to card a 66.
"It was one of those days," Niemann said. "I was in a great position, a few strokes behind.
"I feel like my game is getting better, my irons are getting better and better.
"It was a good test today with this wind, and I was able to take advantage of it.
"I am really happy with how I hit the ball today."

Niemann was joined at the top of the leaderboard at 10-under by Lee Westwood.
The Englishman delivered another polished display of ball-striking. He was inches from a hole in one on the 17th and ended his round with a tap-in birdie on 18 after firing a wedge approach to six inches.
"This golf course is playing tough," Westwood said. "It is going to feel like a grind because it is difficult, but I felt like I played pretty well.
"I played solidly, gave myself a few chances, and had to be patient.
"In three of the last four holes I hit it kick-in distance, so it was good to birdie three of the last four and being pain free."

'Fabulous' - Westwood so close to a hole in one

Westwood is back with his long-time caddie Billy Foster, and is happy to have an experienced head alongside him.
"He has been doing this for about 40-odd years, so we have about 75 years of experience between us," Westwood said. "There’s not many things we have not encountered, certainly Billy. We have worked together before, we got to world No. 1 together.
"It is nice to have a friend on the golf bag, and especially when you are under pressure. It is nice to have other things to talk about, but the only thing is you keep mic-ing him up so he can't really say what he wants to say."
Jon Rahm’s run of consecutive under-par rounds came to a halt as he signed for a 71.
The two-time LIV Golf individual champion’s round of 68 on Friday was his 23rd under-par round in a row, but he failed to extend it on Saturday.
Rahm struggled on the greens for most of the day, and three bogeys set him back. But he made a birdie on the 18th to sign for a 71, leaving him in contention at three behind the leaders.
