Trossard's proposed move to Besiktas is edging closer, according to reports in Turkey.
The Arsenal winger, who is at the World Cup with quarter-finalists Belgium, is expected to complete a switch to the Istanbul club after the tournament.
A fee of €18 million (£15.3m) has reportedly already been agreed between the two clubs for 31-year-old Trossard, who helped Arsenal win the Premier League title last season.
And it has been reported that Trossard’s agent is heading from London to Istanbul to complete "final negotiations".
Sabah Spor reports: "Besiktas are now making final negotiations to achieve the desired result. The black-and-white team received the response they expected from the player.
"Trossard's agent and lawyer are coming to Istanbul from London to complete the final negotiations."
Trossard, who scored eight goals in all competitions last season, is expected to sign a four-year contract with Besiktas. He had joined Arsenal from Brighton & Hove Albion in January 2023.
Fernandez puts talks on future on hold
Enzo Fernandez has broken his silence on his future - after Real Madrid ruled out a move for him.
The La Liga giants took the unusual step of issuing a statement saying that the club had "no intention" of making a move for the Chelsea midfielder, who is at the World Cup with Argentina.
Los Blancos stated that they had not made "any effort, either direct or indirect, to sign the aforementioned player" following weeks of speculation about a switch to the Spanish capital.
Fernandez, who is reportedly keen to leave Stamford Bridge this summer, was asked about his future after scoring the winner for Argentina against Egypt on Tuesday night.

"I’m not thinking about my future right now," he told DAZN. "I’m here living this incredible moment for me, and we’ll see what happens after the World Cup."
Chelsea, it has been reported, would demand a fee for £120m for Fernandez, who the club signed for a then-British record fee of £107m in 2023.

Chelsea starlet set for loan move
Chelsea's Jesse Derry is set for a loan move away from Stamford Bridge.
The 19-year-old, son of former Queens Park Rangers and Crystal Palace midfielder Shaun, is reportedly finalising a season-long loan move to Sporting CP.
Nottingham Forest, Bournemouth and Southampton were also interested in signing Derry, according to Portuguese publication Record. The outlet states that the move was agreed after Derry extended his contract with Chelsea.

Derry is reportedly due in Lisbon on Thursday to complete the move.
The forward made his senior debut for Chelsea in February when he turned out in the club’s Emirates FA Cup tie against Hull City. Derry went on to make his Premier League bow against Nottingham Forest in May.
Derry, who already follows Sporting on Instagram, had joined Chelsea from Palace last summer.
Portugal set to announce Martinez successor
Roberto Martinez stepped down as head coach of Portugal following their last-16 defeat to Spain in the World Cup.
Speaking after the painful 1-0 loss in Dallas, Martinez said: "It's the end of the cycle. It's important to have a new voice, a new leader."

The Portuguese Football Federation, it seems, has wasted little time in recruiting a successor to Martinez.
Pedro Sousa, executive director of Correio da Manha Radio, claimed on Wednesday that the hugely-experienced Jorge Jesus, who led Al Nassr to the Saudi Pro League title last season, was "already the coach of Portugal."

He added that Jesus would be assisted by former Portugal international Pepe.
"Jorge Jesus is already the coach of Portugal," said Sousa, as reported by Record. "The Federation is preparing to announce on Friday, the day that marks 10 years since Portugal won the European Championship in France.
"Jorge Jesus invited Pepe to be his assistant. Everything indicates that he will be one of Jesus' assistants. He will sign a four-year contract, it's a matter of the Federation making the announcement."
