In Wednesday's Euro Transfer News, Real Madrid's Kylian Mbappe has sent a message to Bayern Munich defender Dayot Upamecano, and several European giants are reportedly targeting a German youngster. Meanwhile, Erik Ten Hag and Marc Overmars have apparently turned down Ajax, and it has been suggested that AC Milan will trigger an option to extend Luka Modric's contract with the club.

Mbappe sends message to Upamecano
Kylian Mbappe has told Dayot Upamecano that there are bigger clubs than Bayern Munich amid speculation that the French defender could leave the German giants this summer.
Upamecano’s current contract with the Bundesliga champions is set to expire at the end of the season, with Real Madrid reportedly keen to secure his signature.
Mbappe has enjoyed an excellent start to the campaign with Los Blancos, scoring 13 goals in 12 La Liga appearances.
He suggested that any club would be keen to sign one of the best defenders in the world.
"He’s at a big club, Bayern, there’s not much bigger…But there are bigger ones," Mbappe said, according to Marca.
"I’m not going to say anything, I’m not going to get into that debate, out of respect for his club and for him, because I know that if I say something he’ll be under more pressure, but when you talk about a player of this calibre, all the clubs will be on the lookout to sign him."
European giants target German youngster
Sky's Florian Plettenberg believes that some of the biggest clubs in Europe are keen to sign 16-year-old Hertha Berlin prospect Kennet Eichhorn.
Real Madrid, Barcelona, Manchester United and Paris Saint-Germain were mentioned in a long list of clubs that are interested in the German midfielder.
Eichhorn has made nine appearances for Hertha Berlin in the 2. Bundesliga this season, and is the youngest player ever to make an appearance in the German second division.
Plettenberg says that he has a release clause between €10 million (£8.8m) and €12 million (£10.6m) in his contract.
"Nearly all top European sides are interested in 16y/o Kennet Eichhorn," he posted on X.
"From Germany, this includes Leipzig, Bayern, Dortmund, Eintracht and Leverkusen and more.
"From abroad, Real Madrid, Barcelona, Manchester United and PSG are among those monitoring him.
"He is already a regular starter at Hertha BSC and became the youngest player in the history of the 2. Bundesliga. An exceptional talent. Release clause of €10-12m as revealed."
Ten Hag and Overmars turn down Ajax
Dutch outlet NOS are reporting that Erik ten Hag and Marc Overmars have turned down the chance to take over at Ajax.
Ajax are without a head coach after sacking John Heitinga following less than six months in the job.
They are currently fourth in the Eredivisie table, 11 points behind leaders PSV after 12 fixtures.
Ten Hag returned to management with Bayer Leverkusen this season following an ill-fated stint as Manchester United boss.

He was subsequently sacked after just two league matches in the role, but he is not considering a return to his former club.
"Erik ten Hag will not be the new manager of Ajax," read the article.
"The 55-year-old Ten Hag is currently not interested in returning to the Amsterdam club.
"Yesterday, former director of football affairs Marc Overmars also declined the offer of a return."
Modric set to stay in Milan
Nicolo Schira says that AC Milan are going to trigger their option to extend former Real Madrid midfielder Luka Modric’s contract until 2027 after an impressive start to the season.
Milan are currently third in the Serie A table, just two points behind leaders Napoli, and the Croatian midfield has played a key role.
Modric has made 11 league appearances, scoring one goal and producing two assists.
His current deal is reportedly set to expire in the summer, but Schira thinks Milan will trigger an option to extend the contract by an additional year.
"AC Milan are oriented to trigger the option to extend Luka Modric’s contract until 2027," he posted on X.
"He is considered a key player for Milan’s project by Max Allegri and Igli Tare."
