Florentino Perez may have been referring to Michael Olise when he said that Real Madrid were planning to break their transfer record on ”a true Galactico”, according to reports in Spain.

Perez is currently engulfed in a war of words with Enrique Riquelme as they go head-to-head in a race to be elected the next president of the La Liga giants.
Perez initially denied that he was referring to the French international while speaking on the Spanish television programme Cuatro.
However, AS have now said that Perez was referring to one of Olise, Vitinha or Joao Neves during his television appearance.
”According to AS, all signs point to three names: Olise, despite his denials, Vitinha, and Joao Neves,” the report said
”In Olise's case, although he denied on the Cuatro program that he was a candidate, the current Real Madrid president considers the winger, a French international (17 caps and four goals), a game-changing player.
”It's not out of the question that he will pursue a deal for the Bayern Munich player, who is under contract until 2029 and valued at €150 million [£130m].”

Juventus back in for Mateta
Gazzetta dello Sport say that Juventus will rekindle their interest in Crystal Palace striker Jean-Philippe Mateta if they fail to bring Randal Kolo Muani back to Turin this summer.
Mateta looked set to swap Selhurst Park for Serie A in January but a deal to join AC Milan fell through following reports that he had failed his medical.

He was booed by sections of the Palace support upon his return to south London but redeemed himself by scoring the winning goal in the UEFA Conference League final.
Juventus were also interested in bringing the Frenchman to Serie A earlier this year, and now Gazzetta dello Sport say they will turn to him or Atletico Madrid star Alexander Sorloth, a former Palace player, if they cannot agree a deal for Muani.
”While Randal Kolo Muani is certainly the first name on the list, in recent hours, in addition to a rekindled interest in Mateta, the name of Alexander Sorloth, a 30-year-old Norwegian from Atletico Madrid, has been gaining traction,” the newspaper reports.
”He was already in Juventus' orbit in January and the Bianconeri executives recently reconnected with his agents.”

Chelsea and Barca chase Cambiaso
Calciomercato insists that Chelsea and Barcelona want to sign Andrea Cambiaso but they also believe that Juventus have valued the defender at €30 million (£26m).
Cambiaso enjoyed an impressive campaign in Serie A, producing three goals and four assists in 36 league appearances.
However, Juventus were unable to qualify for next season’s UEFA Champions League, finishing sixth in the table.

Calciomercato say Juventus would be open to selling the full-back if a good offer comes in.
"At Juventus, Andrea Cambiaso remains one of the hottest names on the horizon,” they report.
”The Juventus full-back continues to attract the attention of several European and Italian clubs. Juventus management doesn't consider the player unsellable and, given a reasonable offer, could consider selling him this summer.
”Juventus value Cambiaso, born in 2000, whose contract expires in 2029, at at least €30 million.”
El Mala rejects Brentford
Sky Sports Germany have claimed that Cologne's Said El Mala does not want to join Brentford despite reports that the Premier League side have made a £43 million bid for the 19-year-old.
Bild had previously suggested that The Bees were on the verge of bringing El Mala to west London after an impressive season in the Bundesliga.
However, Florian Plettenberg has dismissed the claims, stating that the player does not want to join the club.
”Said El Mala and his family have officially informed Brentford now that they do not want to join the club,” he wrote on X.
”This comes despite Brentford’s improved offer of around €50m (€45m fixed plus €5m add-ons), which 1. FC Koln were prepared to accept.
”As always reported, El Mala never had an agreement with Brentford. El Mala’s future is now completely open again.”
