Arsenal make contact with Osimhen
Arsenal are reportedly interested in signing Victor Osimhen from Napoli.
The Nigeria striker has long been linked with Chelsea, but it is The Gunners who are making moves to bring him to London.
Osimhen has scored 76 goals in 133 appearances for Napoli since joining from Lille in July 2020 and helped the club to their first Serie A title in over three decades.
“Arsenal have been in contact with Napoli striker Victor Osimhen, who Jose Mourinho has likened to legendary marksman Didier Drogba,” writes the Mirror.
“The Gunners' need for a true number 9 is well documented, and it should come as no surprise that they were one of many who expressed interest in Osimhen.
“It has now been reported that the club have been in contact with the striker Mourinho likened to his Ivorian poacher - yet, Mikel Arteta's men are not the frontrunners for his signature.
“According to Di Marzio, Arsenal have been in contact with the player, but no concrete negotiations have yet developed. On the other hand, the Nigerian striker is reportedly one of PSG's top priorities, and they are perhaps the only European side that is a viable destination for Osimhen."
Griezmann MLS bound?
Atletico Madrid star Antoine Griezmann could join American side Los Angeles FC on a free transfer next summer, it has been claimed.
The France international is entering into the final year of his contract and is said to be tempted with a move to MLS.
“According to L'Equipe, MLS club Los Angeles FC are interested in a move for Griezmann,” writes The Sun.
“LAFC are said to be weighing up signing the forward for free next summer or triggering his release clause.
"The report adds that Griezmann has a clause worth just £8.5million in his Atletico contract.
"As a result, he will seek assurances over his international future in talks with France boss Didier Deschamps before making a decision on a potential move.”
Man Utd in 'advanced talks' with Mazraoui
Manchester United are in “advanced talks” over a move for Bayern Munich full-back Noussair Mazraoui.
That is according to a report in The Sun, which claims West Ham have pulled out of a deal for the Morocco international.
“Manchester United's move for Noussair Mazraoui is back on after his switch to West Ham allegedly collapsed,” states the report.
“The 26-year-old Moroccan international full-back looked set to join the Hammers from Bayern Munich after a £16.4million deal was agreed.
“However, personal terms were reportedly unable to be thrashed out between the Premier League side and the player’s representative.
“That has led to West Ham walking away from discussions and opened the door for Erik ten Hag’s side.
“And United are believed to be in ‘advanced talks’ over the move.
“That is according to journalist Florian Plettenberg, who posted on X: ‘Noussair #Mazraoui deal with West Ham is OFF!
“'No agreement on agent‘s side has been reached. Despite the agreement between the clubs (15,5 + 4) and on player‘s side West Ham now have left the negotiations.
“'Manchester United now pushing to sign Mazraoui. Advanced talks.'”
