Pogba linked with Inter Miami
The Independent reports that MLS side Inter Miami have been linked with another footballing star.
This time it is Paul Pogba, who could in theory link up with star duo Luis Suarez and Lionel Messi.
The paper writes: “Paul Pogba has reached a mutual agreement with Juventus to terminate his contract with the Serie A giants, the France international has announced.
“The former Manchester United midfielder, whose Juve deal was set to expire in 2026, did not reveal his next destination, though the 31-year-old has been linked to Inter Miami.
“Pogba was handed a four-year doping ban – following an initial suspension – in March, but can now resume playing next March after the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) last month reduced his punishment to 18 months.”
Almiron wants Newcastle stay
The Mirror claims that Newcastle United attacker Miguel Almiron could remain with the Premier League side.
The Paraguayan playmaker is no longer a regular in the starting eleven under Eddie Howe, and has been linked with a move to South America.
The paper writes: “Newcastle United ace Miguel Almiron plans to stay and fight for his place at Newcastle United, despite being unhappy at his current volume of minutes.
“The Paraguay star was widely linked with a move away from St James' Park over the summer, but remained in the North East when the transfer window closed. Almiron has spent most of his time on the substitutes bench in 2024/25 having started just once in the Premier League and appeared in the competition five times in all.
“Almiron drew interest from Major League Soccer in the summer. Charlotte FC, coached by ex-Aston Villa boss Dean Smith, bid for the former Atalanta United star but saw their offer turned down.
“Almiron remains at home in Newcastle but could yet draw interest from South America come January.”
Van Nistelrooy wants Coventry job
Ruud van Nistelrooy reportedly wants the vacant Coventry City job after leaving Manchester United.
Former United striker Mark Robins left Coventry City recently, opening up an option for Van Nistelrooy.
The Express explains: "Ruud van Nistelrooy has thrown his hat into the ring for the Coventry City managerial position just days after parting ways with Manchester United.
“The Dutchman had joined his old club as an assistant coach and took over temporarily following Erik ten Hag's dismissal.
“Despite remaining undefeated in his four matches in interim charge, he was told he wouldn't be kept on in the new era.
“The Championship side, who were beaten by United in a dramatic FA Cup semi-final last season, recently sacked Mark Robins. Currently sitting 17th in the league, they're looking for a fresh face in the dugout.

Chelsea keen on Zabarnyi
Chelsea boss Enzo Maresca is said to be a fan of Bournemouth defender Ilya Zabarnyi.

The Sun writes: “The Cherries star has impressed since he arrived in the Premier League in 2023.
“Zabarnyi, 22, joined Bournemouth from Dynamo Kiev on an initial five-year contract.
“Due to his good form at the Vitality Stadium, he has already been rewarded with a new deal.
“He is now tied down on the South Coast until 2029, but Chelsea remain keen.”
