Galatasaray want Casemiro

The Mirror reports that Turkish side Galatasaray could move for Casemiro as Manchester United struggle to offload him.
The Brazilian has struggled of late at Old Trafford, and he could face little time on the pitch after Manuel Ugarte arrived.
The paper reports: “Manchester United have been handed a boost in their attempts to offload Casemiro after Galatasaray registered their interest in the midfielder.
“United are keen to sell Casemiro, who earns around £350,000 per week and has suffered a dramatic dip in form since his solid debut campaign. The 32-year-old midfielder was hauled off at half-time in United’s 3-0 defeat by Liverpool at Old Trafford on Sunday and will likely be relegated to the substitutes’ bench following Manuel Ugarte’s £50 million arrival from Paris Saint-Germain.
“The problem is that not many sides are willing to take off their hands an under-performing highly-paid player whose career appears to be on the slide. United’s former director of football John Murtough visited Saudi Arabia in December to try and drum up interest in the Brazil international, but left without any success.
“Casemiro, who joined in a £70m move from Real Madrid in August 2022 which Sir Jim Ratcliffe openly criticised, still has two years left on his contract. United’s options appeared to have dwindled when the Premier League transfer window closed at 11pm on August 30, yet a new avenue has now opened.”

Real target Rodri transfer

Real Madrid are keen on signing Rodri at the end of the summer as they look to replace Toni Kroos.
Kroos retired in the summer, and Rodri’s excellent form for Manchester City has attracted interest.
The Sun states: “Real Madrid have made Rodri a priority target ahead of next summer.
“The midfielder has been one of Manchester City's most important players in recent years and finished fifth in the Ballon d'Or last year.
“He played a crucial role in City winning their fourth Premier League title in a row this year before helping Spain win Euro 2024.
“That has sparked interest from Real Madrid, who are still in search of a long-term successor for Toni Kroos.”

Martial may make Greek switch

The Daily Star believes that Anthony Martial could be signed as a free agent by AEK Athens.
The French forward left Old Trafford in the summer but has yet to find a new club as the new season begins.
The paper reports: “Manchester United flop Anthony Martial could be set for a record-breaking move to Greek heavyweights AEK Athens.
“The French forward, who's currently without a club following his departure from Old Trafford, has been linked with lucrative moves to Saudi Arabia and the US. However, it seems the former £44m man might have another option - the Greek Super League.
“AEK Athens are keen on signing Martial for the upcoming season and are ready to splash the cash to secure his services. The striker was previously earning £250k per week with United in the Premier League.
“While the exact figure of the proposed wage in Greece hasn't been disclosed, it's expected to be substantial.”
