Mourinho wants Ronaldo in Turkey
Jose Mourinho wants to bring Cristiano Ronaldo to Fenerbahce and has already made contact with the Portuguese superstar, according to a report in The Sun.
Ronaldo turns 40 in February and has hinted that he could retire in the next "one or two years", but Fenerbahce supporters are "hopeful" he could finish his career in Turkey.
"Jose Mourinho is reportedly attempting to persuade Cristiano Ronaldo to join Fenerbahce at the end of the season," states the outlet.
"Ronaldo's current deal with Saudi Pro League club Al-Nassr expires in June. As things stand he is yet to agree terms for a new contract.
"And he could be given food for thought regarding his next club, with Turkish giants Fenerbahce known to be interested.
"According to reports in Turkey, Fenerbahce boss Mourinho has already contacted the five-time Ballon d'Or winner.
"He allegedly asked: ‘Are you happy there? There is talk that you want to leave. If you leave, would you like to come to Fenerbahce?’"
"Director of football Mario Branco has allegedly opened talks with Ronaldo and his agent, Jorge Mendes.
"It currently seems unlikely the move will happen, but Fenerbahce supporters remain hopeful."
Southampton contact Real Madrid over loan move for Endrick
Southampton have been linked with a surprise move for Real Madrid sensation Endrick.
The Saints are rooted to the bottom of the Premier League table after 11 games, while Endrick has yet to start a game with Los Blancos since joining from Palmeiras.
However, Southampton face competition for his signature, with Roma and Real Vallodolid also interested.
"The Premier League's basement boys Southampton could be set for quite a January window with an ambitious move for Real Madrid wonderkid Endrick - but could face competition," writes the Mirror.
"The Brazilian, 18, has emerged as a transfer target for the struggling Saints ahead of the winter window opening. Endrick only arrived at the Santiago Bernabeu in the summer in a £60m move from Palmeiras.
"And it is now claimed that he could potentially leave Real Madrid on a temporary deal in an effort to develop his game. Southampton are one of the clubs linked with him.
"According to Sport, the Saints have got in touch with Real over a potential deal but they could face competition. Serie A side Roma have also reportedly submitted an enquiry, while Real Valladolid are also interested."
Zirkzee to Juventus in doubt
Joshua Zirkzee’s future at Manchester United is reportedly uncertain, but a rumoured move to Juventus may not happen this winter.
The Mirror claims the Italian giants are considering a move for Bayer Leverkusen striker Patrick Schick, meaning Zirkzee may not be a priority in January.
"Joshua ZIrkzee may miss out on a January transfer to Juventus - thanks to Xabi Alonso's decision to reduce Patrick Schick's role at Bayer Leverkusen," states the outlet.
"The Italian giants are reviewing their options in the final third and want to add reinforcements to ease the load on Dusan Vlahovic. An injury to Arkadiusz Milik is set to force them into the market with Zirkzee seen as more of a summer target.
"In the meantime they are poised to pursue Schick, who has found minutes hard to come by at the German champions.
"Juventus have a long-term interest in Schick and are ready to pursue him again, this time on loan, with Manchester United's Dutch forward the man they want in the summer despite his underwhelming stint with the Premier League giants, reports Gazzetta dello Sport."
