From a Manchester United youngster announcing himself on the world stage to a certain "Special One" getting off to a cracking start on his debut - you decide which moment was the best!
Ravanelli hat-trick on debut - 1996/97
Fabrizio Ravanelli introduced himself to the Premier League in unforgettable fashion when he made his debut for Middlesbrough against Liverpool at the Riverside Stadium in 1996.
The striker had been restricted to just two matches at Euro 96 in England in the summer, but he wasted no time in demonstrating his ability to his new adoring fans.
Liverpool went ahead three times in a classic affair through Stig Inge Bjornebye, John Barnes and Robbie Fowler, but it was Ravanelli who rescued the hosts each time to record an opening-day hat-trick to earn the hosts a memorable 3-3 draw.
Beckham scores from halfway - 1996/97
The goal that kickstarted everything.
Defending Premier League champions Manchester United were cruising to an opening day victory at Wimbledon in their bid to win back-to-back titles for the second time under Sir Alex Ferguson.
The Red Devils were leading 2-0 thanks to goals from Eric Cantona and Denis Irwin, but there was another player who would make all the headlines by the end of the game.
In the final minute of the game, United won possession back in their own half and the ball fell to the feet of David Beckham.
The 21-year-old had a look and, with the ball rolling slowly towards the halfway line, decided to go for goal and spectacularly lobbed the despairing goalkeeper Neil Sullivan.
Beckham stood with his arms aloft following his sensational strike which introduced him to the world. The rest is history.

Mourinho conquers Sir Alex - 2004/05
"I think I'm a Special One".
The time had come for Jose Mourinho to experience his first taste of Premier League football after delivering one of the greatest lines in the game's history.
Mourinho had just joined Chelsea after leading Portuguese side Porto to UEFA Champions League success the previous season.
His first game in charge of the Blues would set the tone for the 2004/05 campaign as they welcomed Sir Alex Ferguson and Manchester United to Stamford Bridge.
In typical Mourinho fashion, Chelsea went ahead early through Eidur Gudjohnsen and completely nullified United's attack to record a 1-0 win on the opening day.
It was just the springboard that Mourinho and Chelsea needed to start the campaign, and they stormed to their first league title for 50 years by the end of the season.
The "Special One" had arrived.
Giroud stuns Leicester in classic - 2017/18
One of the greatest Premier League opening day matches of all time?
It was an electrifying encounter from start to finish as new Arsenal signing Lacazette opened his account with a fine header inside two minutes to put the Gunners ahead.
At half-time, another three goals had been scored, with Danny Welbeck making it 2-2 after Leicester went ahead through Shinji Okazaki and Jamie Vardy.
Vardy put the Foxes back ahead before the hour mark, but Arsenal staged a late comeback to stun the 2016 champions of England.
Aaron Ramsey levelled after 83 minutes and the Gunners found themselves ahead just two minutes later after Olivier Giroud rose highest to send the Emirates into raptures.
Pogba bags FOUR assists - 2021/22
After a season of playing behind closed doors due to Covid-19, Old Trafford was finally able to welcome a sell-out crowd for the opening day clash against rivals Leeds United.
The Theatre of Dreams would witness a piece of Premier League heritage as Paul Pogba was in imperious form and produced four assists on the day as Ole Gunner Solskjaer's men cruised to a 5-1 victory.
The World Cup winner became only the eighth player in the competition's history to record four assists in a single game and joined Premier League greats such as Dennis Bergkamp and Cesc Fabregas in achieving the feat.
It was one of Pogba's best days in a United shirt and certainly one of the finest individual performances on the opening day of any season.
