Enzo Maresca says Malo Gusto is out for this Saturday's Premier League clash with Everton, which is live on TNT Sports 1 and discovery+.
However, the Chelsea boss said that the injury is not too serious, and that the France international defender could be available for the team's match with Liverpool on May 4.
The Blues are hoping to secure a top-five finish and a place in next season's UEFA Champions League, but are currently sixth, two points behind Newcastle in fifth.
"Malo is injured, but it does not look like an important injury," he said.
"He is already running and doing this outside, but he will not be available for tomorrow.
"Hopefully he will be available for the next game."
Dalot potentially out until end of the season
Diogo Dalot could be out for the rest of the campaign after suffering a calf injury, according to Manchester United manager Ruben Amorim.
The defender will now miss The Red Devils' visit to AFC Bournemouth on Sunday.
It is another blow for Amorim and his side, who are currently 14th in the Premier League table with five games remaining.
"Dalot is out," he said.

"We don’t know how long he’s going to be out, but he’s out for these next games.
"There is that possibility [he will miss the remainder of the season] but I don’t know.
"We will check week by week because he works really hard. He can recover quite well, so we’ll see.
"He has something in his muscle in his calf.
"He had a sequence of games where he played all the time. We try to manage [that] but the players play a lot of minutes and are not so ready to cope with that.
"Dalot felt something."
Son still out for Spurs
Son Heung-min has not recovered from the knock that saw him miss Tottenham's last two matches and will now be absent for their clash with Liverpool.
The forward did not feature in the 4-2 defeat against Wolves or the 2-1 loss to Nottingham Forest.
"We don't have injury problems, as such," said Spurs manager Ange Postecoglou.
"The only one is Sonny, trying to work his way back.
"He's improving, which is positive for us, but not [fit] for Sunday."
Sa recovers for clash with Foxes

Sa suffered the injury during the warm-up and was replaced in goal by Dan Bentley, but he could now feature against Championship-bound Leicester City on Saturday.
"Sa is okay. He is working with the team and in a condition to help," said Pereira.
He also confirmed that Jean-Ricner Bellegarde and Hwang Hee-chan are expected to be fit enough to feature.
"Bellegarde and Hwang - they worked yesterday with the team and I think they will also be able to be fit for the team."
Slot says Gomez will be back soon
Joe Gomez could be back from his injury before the end of the season, but will not return in time to face Tottenham.
The Liverpool defender has been out since December with a hamstring problem.
"If his recovery goes well, he might be able to play for maybe the last one or two games of the season," said Slot.

"He is not training with the team yet, but he is getting closer and closer. He has been out for a long time and we've talked about how long it took Conor Bradley to come back.
"I think he will be available in the last one or two games, if his recovery goes the way as planned."
FA Cup semi-finals
Haaland on the mend
Pep Guardiola has revealed that Erling Haaland is almost ready to return, but he did not put an exact date on the striker's comeback.
The Manchester City star suffered an injury to his left ankle during the FA Cup quarter-final win over AFC Bournemouth and is a serious doubt ahead of the FA Cup semi-final against Nottingham Forest at Wembley on Sunday.

"He is getting better and he is injured and been involved [off the pitch] as well," said Guardiola.
"He feels better, but I don't know when [he will be back].
"The injury is not a comfortable one, I would say.
"He is not a small guy, but he is getting better.
"We will see in the next days how he is."
Chilwell back for Eagles
Ben Chilwell could feature in Crystal Palace's FA Cup semi-final against Aston Villa after recovering from an illness.
The Eagles have no new injury concerns ahead of the crunch clash at Wembley.
"Ben Chilwell is back and fit [after his illness]," said Palace manager Oliver Glasner.
"So, we have everyone available.
"Everyone is in a good mood and looking forward to it."
