Harry Maguire hungry for more silverware at Manchester United - 'This club demands trophies'
Harry Maguire is hopeful he can add to his EFL and FA Cup triumphs with another trophy this season. The former Manchester United captain insisted that he is in fine shape after recovering from muscle issues towards the end of last season. After a late 1-0 win against Fulham at Old Trafford, Erik ten Hag's men travel to the Amex to face Brighton on Saturday, live on TNT Sports and discovery+.

Harry Maguire is targeting more silverware with Manchester United ahead of the club’s first away trip in the new Premier League season.
United travel to the Amex this Saturday lunchtime to face a Brighton side fresh from their 3-0 demolition of Everton, and the clash will be shown live on TNT Sports and discovery+.
Erik ten Hag’s men were the last team to inflict defeat on the South Coast club, a week before they lifted the FA Cup at the expense of Mancunian neighbours Manchester City.
And the former United captain is hungry for more red-letter days, insisting that the club “demands trophies”.
"I think we don't really want to set any targets [but] I think this club demands trophies,” Magure told Manchester United’s official website.
“So we want to win another trophy, of course, and in the Premier League we know there are large improvements that we need to do and make from what we did last season.
"Obviously, we want to be in the Champions League spots. We missed out this season as we weren't good enough in the league.
"For sure, we've got to improve on last season and let's see where it goes and takes us.”
Maguire was absent from their FA Cup final success due to a calf injury and subsequently missed out on Gareth Southgate’s Euro 2024 England squad.
But the 31-year-old was back in the United starting line-up on the opening day of the Premier League season, keeping a clean sheet as Joshua Zirkzee fired the hosts to a 1-0 win over Fulham.

"I feel good, I feel fit," said Maguire. "Physically and mentally, I'm in a good place and I'm looking forward to a big season.
"There are so many games this season. I'm sure there's going to be a lot of changes to come game-to-game in the starting 11. And when your turn is upon you, you need to take your chance. It's one that we'll need a big squad for.
"For myself, I feel fit and ready to go and looking forward to the season.”

Including debutant Zirkzee and assist-provider Alejandro Garnacho, United gave minutes to four players under the age of 24 against Fulham.
And Maguire said there will be even more chances for academy prospects to play their part in what the central defender hopes is another trophy-clinching campaign.
"This club has always given opportunities to young players and this club has always produced good players," Maguire said.
"So the young boys know if they come and train with us and they perform and they do well in the games then they'll be given opportunities, because this manager has proven that over the last couple of years.
"It's going to be up to them, whether they take it or not. And they have the ability and the talent that they can do.”
