Antonio Villar of Eurosport Spain looked ahead to Sunday's Euro 2024 final in Berlin, and he was keen to dismiss any notion of Luis de la Fuente’s side being heavy favourites for the match. Villar reserved special praise for Barcelona's teenage starlet Lamine Yamal, and explained the danger which the likes of Nico Williams and Dani Olmo can pose to England.

England are preparing for a mouth-watering Euro 2024 final against Luis de la Fuente’s side, and we checked in with our colleagues from Spain heading into the match.
The Three Lions are tantalisingly close to ending a 58-year wait for major men’s tournament success, with a formidable La Roja side standing in their way.
Antonio Villar of Eurosport Spain gave his verdict on where the game could be won and lost, and believes Spain’s incredible depth of striking could give them the edge on Sunday.
He explained: “Spain has great individuals in attack and are able to handle the open spaces in matches very well.
"Lamine Yamal and Nico Williams could both be key. Yamal is a fantastic player. He is an angel fallen from heaven for Spain. He is a footballer with many qualities, and has shown that against some great teams.
“The rest of the squad also has immense quality, with [Alvaro] Morata, Nico Williams, and [Dani] Olmo; they are all very good, and they can all unbalance the game.
“Still, I think the final will be won by the team that makes the fewest mistakes. In a final, absolutely anything can happen.”
De la Fuente has sparked a renewed sense of belief in this La Roja side targeting their first trophy since Euro 2012, and Villar praised the way in which the head coach has managed to reignite the love affair between the national team and their supporters.
“The Spanish fans have once again become excited about their team,” he said.
“It is true that Luis de la Fuente's team have played the best football at the Euros, but the final is a totally different prospect.
“They may be the favourites to win, but not by an extreme margin.”

Meanwhile, Villar admits that England’s run to the final has been largely unexpected after a series of sluggish and lacklustre performances.
However, he insists that nothing will be taken for granted with The Three Lions possessing their own game-changers in Jude Bellingham, Phil Foden and Bukayo Saka.
“From my point of view, I think that anyone thought that England were going to reach the final,” he explained.
“Although they played on the easier side of the draw, there were teams, like Switzerland, that played better football. However, this is football and the most effective team goes through.
“Despite not playing very attractive football, England has a great team full of individualities. The likes of Bellingham, Foden and Saka all have the ability to hurt Spain.
“Football is all about results, so it doesn’t matter how well you have played at the end of the match if you achieve victory. Gareth Southgate's record speaks for itself - he is a fantastic coach.”
