League of Legends playoff gets underway at the Esports World Cup

There was playoff action from the League of Legends, Dota 2 and MWI tournaments, while we saw the survival round of the Free Fire competition at the Esports World Cup.

The Esports World Cup brought us action from across the playoffs in three tournaments as we saw League of Legends, MWI, and Dota 2 reach this stage, while Free Fire entered its survival round.
In MWI we now know the Grand Final will be played between Natus Vincere and Team Vitality, with this clash set for an 11am CEST start tomorrow.
Natus Vincere secured their passage to the final by beating Galaxy Phoenix 3-0, while Team Vitality secured a 3-1 win over GelTek Cyber Gaming.
Meanwhile, in the quarter-final of the League of Legends, we saw T1 progress past Hanwha Life Esports, and now they face Karmine Corp after they secured a win over AG.AL.
On the other side of the draw, Gen.G Esports will face DPlus Kia in the semi-final after the pair beat JD Gaming and BiliBili Gaming, respectively.
We witnessed the second day of Dota 2 playoffs today at the Esports World Cup, and now we have both semi-finals confirmed.
Vici Gaming secured a victory over Team Falcons, and now they will face BB Team after they earned a win over Nigma Galaxy.
The semi-finals will take place tomorrow, with the second clash seeing Team Yandex squaring off with PVision.
Finally, the survival round of the Free Fire tournament was completed, and now we know who will be progressing to the playoffs, as they kept their hopes alive of lifting this competition.
Lyon finished top of the survival round, as after the 10 series they secured a total of 185 points, in what was a comfortable gap to second place.
Team Apex Gaming would secure silver at this stage of the competition as they earned 165 points, while following closely in third was Team Falcons with 160 points.
S8UL Esports and Team Vitality secured fourth and fifth at this stage, securing 151 and 148 points, respectively.
