The 2025 Asia Cup is the latest edition of a cricket tournament that dates back more than four decades.
The first event took place in 1984, in the United Arab Emirates, and was won by India.
India were the winners when the tournament was last staged too, in Pakistan and Sri Lanka in 2023.
India and Pakistan both made it through to the Super Four, with Sri Lanka and Bangladesh the other two sides to progress.

Where is the Asia Cup being played?

This year's Asia Cup is taking place in the United Arab Emirates.
The two venues for the tournament are the Dubai International Cricket Stadium in Dubai and the Sheikh Zayed Cricket Stadium in Abu Dhabi.
