England succumbed to Australia 4-1 in the 2025-26 NRMA Insurance men’s Ashes series after their final Test loss in Sydney.

Jacob Bethell hit a maiden Test century on Day 4 to keep England alive heading into the last day of the series.

Bethell went past 150, but his departure deflated the tourists, who set Australia 160 to win. Victory was secured by the hosts for the loss of five wickets.
